2) What types of classes do you teach?

3) What is the age range of your dancers?

4) What is your favorite class to teach and why?

5) Do your students compete?

6) What style of dance do you feel is your strongest?

7) What gives you inspiration to choreograph/dance?

8) Have you ever danced professionally? If so, where?

Have fun filling it out! I think it will be fun! I'll do it when I have more time!

1) First of all, what studio do you teach at?
Footworks Dance Studio in Newcastle, Oklahoma, but I aspire to own my own studio one day!

2) What types of classes do you teach?
ballet and tap combo, jazz, lyrical, adult jazz, contemporary, advanced tap and jazz

3) What is the age range of your dancers?
3-63

4) What is your favorite class to teach and why?
I love my K-5 class! They are so willing to learn and are absolute sponges! Not to mention, my daughter is also in that class, so I may be a bit partial.

5) Do your students compete?
This is our first year to compete since I have been teaching at the studio. We are completely recreational and I can barely get my students up for their regular weekly classes, much less what would be required for extra rehearsals. We'll see how this year goes!

6) What style of dance do you feel is your strongest?
Me personally, I find tap to be the easiest, but I think I am strongest at choreographing jazz.

7) What gives you inspiration to choreograph/dance?
I agree that it is all in the music, but this year, I have started to tell stories with my dances that reflect the lives of all humans. So, I guess life inspires me as well.

8) Have you ever danced professionally? If so, where?
I wish! I got married right out of high school and began making babies, so all I have done is teach and be a wife and mother. That's not so bad!

2) What types of classes do you teach?
Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet and Technique

7) What gives you inspiration to choreograph/dance?
It has to be the music. EVERY song that comes on the radio I rack my brain and figure out some ways to use it. But then I'll hear a song and I'm instantly dancing to it in my head. That's how I know it will make a great piece.

8) Have you ever danced professionally? If so, where?
I began teaching while still in high school so after high school I continued and did not dance anywhere professionally. I do choreograph for other high school's show choirs though in addition to teaching!
