I am trying to pick some music for a team routine.

My trouble is I went through maybe about a dozen of my cd's that I have and I have found 16 tracks I really like.

How do I choose which one is the best as I really like all of them about the same.

Maybe if you could give me ideas how you choose between various pieces of music it may help.

Thanks!

When I choose team music I try to match my theme/music to the kids on that team.

Thats the best way to get the results your looking for...example - if you want a fun upbeat routine and you have kids who barely smile, have no personality, no eye contact - you wont get what you want from them.

I tend to go with how my teams pick up on the music - I have SEVERAL times scrapped music and started over b/c the kids just weren't feeling it like I had hoped.

Also you could ask them....I do this with my sr teams. If Im stuck and have a few that I can't decide on I play them for the girls and get their reactions.

I had thought of asking them but wasn't sure how to go about it if they all decide they prefer something different to each other.

I am doing a team for 4 people - one is definitely not a natural smiler and one does have a smily personality, the other 2 are new to competitions so don't know how they will react as usually what they do in the training hall is usually different to how they perform at a competition
