Just wanted to alert other dance teachers to be cautious of Costume Wearhouse. I ordered a group of costumes from Costume Wearhouse and they ran extremely long in the girth. When I called for an exchange, the owner-manager told me that I was the only one that had ordered this costume in red and black. Therefore, he said that he would have to "eat" them because there was no one else to take them. Therefore, he offered to exchange 3 of them for the size I needed and told me that I would have to get someone to alter the other 3. He wouldn't exchange them because I had waited a week past the 2 week period allowed to return. I explained to him that the costumes had come in after the day of class and the next class there were several students out sick. So --- immediately after the next class (and the sick ones were back) I called him. That was when he told me he wouldn't exchange all of them.
When I questioned him about the fact that he said he would have to "eat" them and I was getting the screws put to me because no one else ordered the same color, he started backtracking. The end result was that he wouldn't exchange but 3 of them and the other three I am going to have to have taken apart and remade at MY expense. Next year, the C.W. book will go into the garbage the day it arrives!!!!
Has anyone else had this problem?

I placed a very small order from them and had no problems (thank goodness).

That's ashame that you have to eat that expense.
