No, but if you are attending, good luck. It is not far from me, either.

I think their deadline for registering for this May has already passed... but they also hold a champion event in January, and another competition Thanksgiving weekend - all same location.

But I've been going for a handful of years now. They're locally owned, with most of the competitors coming from PA, NJ, and NY. It's a three day event. Modeling (sportswear, loungewear, formal wear, swimwear, and novelty costume) is on thursday afternoon/evening in two of the ballrooms. Depending on how many entries they get for that weekend, one or two talent categories get placed thursday evening as well, usually the older age divisions, ending between 10pm and midnight. Then starting at 7am on friday, in three ballrooms concurrently, they start the solo, duo, and trio talent categories. Friday ends around midnight. Then starting about 7am saturday, duos, solos, and trios are finished off with groups and lines starting early afternoon and finishing saturday around midnight. The awards are held on sunday. They have 17 different talent categories and 7 differnet age divisions. They also accept photogenic entries.

I personally have always loved this competition. There are close to 30 (or more) studios that attend, and independents are welcome. They give out quality trophies. They award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, no colors offered (bronze, silver, gold, etc). There are no limits on how many routines you can enter. They also give out modeling and soloist titles in each age division, best duos, best trios, best groups, and other specialty awards... also money awards and scholarships.

I believe they've been in business for almost 30 years now. And compared to many of the national competitions, the fees are super cheap. (25 reg fee, 15 for solos, 8 for duos, etc)

She does have a website... it's not a very good one, but it gives more information on the categories, age divisions, rules, and conctact information. www.theperformingartsalliance.com

Wow... that was a lot of info. haha.
