BARRE
EXERCISE 1=Plies
Start in first.
COUNTS
Breathe on intro
1: Demi plie (Move arm to first)
2: Come up from demi plie (Move arm to second)
3: Start going down in grand plie (raise arm to fifth, using slight back turn looking past little finger)
4: Continue grand plie and arm movement
5: Come up from grand plie and using back open arm to second.
6: Continue coming up.
7: Forward port de bras on rise bringing arm over head (fifth)
8: Continue forward port de bras.
1: Recover (leave arm in fifth) and balance with other arm off barre.
(This can be repeated in 2nd, 4th and 5th. In 2nd you can use a sideways port de bras to the bar on rise and then away and then balance on rise in second. In fourth, you can do a circular port de bras on rise (towards or away) and then balance in fourth. In fifth, you can do a backbend on rise and then a balance in any position (arabesque, attitude, front developpe, side developpe, retire)


EXERCISE 2= Tendus, Glissses
(With this one you can do a slow set then a fast set or all fast if you are looking for challenge. You can also do whatever arms you want, be creative!)
Start in fifth
Tendu devant
Tendu side
Tendu devant (inside leg)
Tendu back (outside leg)
Tendu side
Tendu back (inside leg)
Repeat with glisses
Bring outsidefoot into petit battement position and back, front, back, front etc. Finish it in front in fifth and soutenu turn to other side.
Repeat other side.

EXERCISE 3:
Start right foot devant
1: Lift leg side
2: Fondu and take to front
3: Releve taking leg to side
4: Close Back
5: Lift leg side
6: Fondu take to back
7: Releve and take side
8: Let go of bar and balance

Repeat this side again, do other side two times as well

Exercise 4: Developpe
Right foot devant
1/2: Developpe Front finishing retire
3/4: Developpe back bringing back in to retire
5/6: Developpe Side
7: Releve and Fouette to face barre
8: Lower foot and beng leg to attitude

Repeat other side

Exercise 5: Frappe
Right foot front
Prepare on intro
1: Battement Frappe Front
2: Battement Frappe Front
3/4: 4 Battement Frappe Side Close closing back front back back
5: Battement Derriere
6: Battement Derriere
7/8: 4 4 Battement Frappe Side Close closing front back front front

Repeat other side

CENTRE

Exercise 6: Make up a free sixteen count choreo
