When i started doing handstand frezzes like the L-Kick(1 handed hand stand) i had to use a Ballet bar it helps a lot. on ground freezes make sure both your hands are facing the same direction because if one is facing < and the other is facing > the you wil get off balance and *splat* it hurts if you need more spacific stuff just reply

Put one hand almost in front of your face and the othe on the opposite side almost directly next to your head. my teacher was teaching us freezes and this helped me ALOT! |

Okay...
First, start off mastering that lovely basic handstand. This is going to do WONDERS for you later. The longer you can hold it, the easier the harder things will be.
Once you've mastered that...THEN worry about the rest.
Oh...and I'm going to assume you have no ballet barre...which honestly i DO NOT recommend using, as it creates a need for the barre later on. Plus, if you master that basic handstand, you wont need anything. Try thinking of your body as being in one line. Ever taken jazz or ballet? Remember the "pull up through your body with a string" reference? That might help you in a basic handstand too.
It takes time...you can't nail these overnight. Patience, practice, patience and practice, a basic handstand and NO BALLET BARRES are key. ;]
I hope this helps!! |

Agreed with tapping angel if u use things like ballet bars n chairs to help you balance you will need them more later on ,, jus keep practacing over and over again, the more u fall the better you will get,, you will end up doing it once ur arm will lock and ull hold the freeze u will then realise its easier from then on,, just keep practasing you will get there.. |
