I just announced the new uniform for my girls. Now a mother of a boy asks me to do this for the boys as well (friendly request).
I feel so stupid that I forgot my 3 men! Immediately I promised her to go looking for something.

Standard is white leotard and black tights (ballet). Is there something more creative? More design like? More modern? Different?

In some classes the girls will wear pink leotards, in other red leotards. So, dark blue tights for the boys is maybe not very matching.

Links, pictures, colour suggestions. It is all welcome!

If you are looking for a practice uniform for boys/men, black Jazz pants and white tank tops or t-shirts are always standard when it comes to a strict ballet company. If you are not of the strict origin, street clothes are always a fun alternative. When I mean street clothes I mean like hip hop type attire that is more on the conservative side. The boys at our studio always liked that choice.

At least it is something else than white/black.

Our girls are required to wear a black leotard. Our boys wear a black unitard, or 'biketard', with short legs, which looks similar to a wrestling singlet. I do let them wear shorts over the top, because we're in a small town, and, pardon the expression, but the 'package' isn't something some of the moms want in their girls' classes, I guess--0r something the moms of the boys feel comfortable with. Which brings me back to the wrestling singlet. . why is THAT okay? Oh well. I just surrender sometimes.
