Hey everyone I have another how to question....
I am finally starting three baton (FINALLY!)
iI have the summer to practice, and was wondering if you have any tips on anything to do with three baton it would be greatly appreciated.
As of now I am not able to get my LH toss up in time, or if I do its off pattern. This may be a good place to start
-thanks for your help :)

Hi,

Congrats on taking on three baton! I am really happy to hear this. Number one, you need patience and a lot of it.

You need to master the basis of juggles before tackling tricks. To do this you need to practice the first step of pendulum's with two batons. Then when you feel comfortable with two batons, you can add in a third baton.

In my opinion you should work on in order,

Pendulums
crescents
Vertical boxes
Horizontal showers
bowling pins

Where can I see examples of these tricks? I don't know what their names mean except for showers and boxes. Thanks for any direction.

Here is a video of me on youtube from like a million years ago...

From :23-:26 is crescents. The left arm makes the "moon/crescent" shape hence the name.

:29-:31 is outside outsides where both hands make that crescent shape.

:51-:54 is pendulums because your arms are like the pendulum on a grandfather clock

1:05-1:08 flat showers

1:23-1:125 behind the back throws

1:26-1:29 bowling pins

1:30-1:32 can openers with bowling pins

Hope this helps!
