Guys Only Antiperspirant en>fr fr>en By asiandancer111 Comments: 37, member since Sun May 17, 2009On Tue Jun 23, 2009 04:50 PM
Does anyone know of a really good antiperspirant? I've tried axe, old spice, Gillette and degree, and none of them have worked. And it's really embarrassing when I'm the only one with giant pit stains during and out of dance. 4 Replies to Antiperspirant |

I use to have the same problem as you but it was before I started dancing. But what I did is I started to use my mom deoderant which was secret or dove and I found that it really works well. Alot of guys at the studio find it werid that I use girls deoderant but it works so I dont care what they think. and couple guys have asked to use some to see how well it works and they have actually went to buy it or asked me to get it for them. I hope this helps. |

There are really strong versions of antiperspirants over the counter now. I used to use CertainDry which you can buy in nearly every drugstore. And I think Degree or some other brands now have "prescription strength." I used CertainDry when I was teaching and wanted to avoid sweat stains in front of my students. It definitely worked. You apply it in the evening before bed and the next day...not an ounce of sweat.
I stopped using it, though, because it functions by completely blocking your sweat glands. Although it does work effectively and claims to be perfectly fine and healthy to use, I just couldn't get past using chemicals to block my sweat glands. Just didn't seem natural.
You're in dance class. I think you SHOULD sweat! It seems perfectly normal to me.
Just my two cents |

I've used Arid for years with success as a deoderant. I've never used anti-perspirant. I feel that sweating is a part of life and especially being a guy, it's acceptable. Just my two cents 2. |

Well, you are dancing, so you are going to sweat. If hirls deodorant works better for you, use it. I personally use girls because it smells better. At least I think it's girls because it has 19% of the aluminum whatever it is. |
