Goverment say 100,000 new cases of swineflu could be diagnosed each day till end of august .

To be honest I'm passed worrying. I live in Dunoon and on the 24th of May 13 people travelling from here to Dundee on a bus caught swine flu. Within 2 weeks 120 people were confirm as positive in our tiny town. 5 schools were closed and my daughters school was half closed (didn't understand that). We have been carrying Milton hand wash with us at all times as it kills VIRUSES not just bacteria like many but that is all now. There is still flu going round here although it has slowed down. I think the media is totally at fault for the panic. I did panic when it was in my daughters year group at school and must thank the good people of DDN for their support. Now I think if we get it we get it. Nothing more we can do than keep our hands washed etc. We can't avoid crowds or lock ourselves away for ever.

I have to say it hasnt caused me any panic but I have just been looking at it that the majority of people if they do get any type of flu although they feel really ill they work through it, I have from the beginning just felt they panicked people over nothing. After all every year flu does kill some people especially vulnerable but the majority get over it and I dont think this is any different.

Still thats a lot of poorly people for this time of year and really wouldnt like any of my lot to have it
