1. If you teach it, you should be able to spell it.
2. That's not a chaine turn. And CHINEZ sounds like something you eat off of while picnicing.

Haha, pretty funny. But in his defense, he may not have been the one that uploaded the video and put text in. It could have been really anyone who has no clue how to spell. Maybe he didn't have a chance or say in editing it. Who knows?! |

it is very similar to what bob rizzo calls a stamp or a stomp turn? i can't remember which, but I also used to work for a SO who refered to these as Jazz chaine turns.
But I agree, it looks like a plie in second, weird almost sou sous, and a soutenu (sorry for my spelling, i've been up all night since i'm going to be an aunt any minute now!) |
