I too would love to know about any dates for contests. We live in the south and there are none that I know of in our area until spring. So sad, because our twirlers would be better if we had contests year round. Can't wait to hear of some if anyone knows of any.

MI. state for NBTA is Nov. 14th
DMA has fall classic the 1st part of Nov. in W.V.

The WV State NBTA contest is always in November at Ripley, WV. I don't believe that the date has been set yet but it's normally the second week-end in November.

What about Ohio States? Heard that was going to be moved to the fall. Is there a date yet?

I heard through the grapevine that Ohio States would be Novemeber 14th. Not sure how true that is but might want to put it down as a tentative date.

We host our annual "Mid-America Celebration of Twirling" competition every November. This year we have it tentatively scheduled for November 14th and 15th. If you would like an entry, please email me at stepperettes@hotmail.com.

Once I know more on the WV State contest, I will post for everyone. We would LOVE to have more participants! Our state is not a strong twirling state although we are home to the new Pre-Teen Miss Majorette of America, Braelynn Neely! I think that we had about seven or so twirlers compete at AYOP this year so that is more then most years!

Hello, is Laniece WIlliams still teaching in Jesup, GA? Wayne COunty had a GREAT group of twirlers in their high school about 6 or 8 years ago. Most of them went to Ga Southern and twirled on the line there....I think one of them became the feature at Southern...

Yes, Lynice Williams still lives in Jesup and teaches elementary school and some baton on the side. Our local high school has produced quite a few college line and feature twirlers. I'll tell her she was fondly 'remembered'.
