Flamenco/Bellydancing question

Hi,

nice to meet you all. :)

I do have a question.

Around here I see a lot of Flamenco/Bellydancing classes.
Personally I had only ever taken Flamenco as such. And though I do understand the origens on where both dance forms met, I'm not sure I do understand why or how both forms are mixed today.
Is it Flamenco with Belly dancing movements, or is it Belly Dancing with Flamenco movements or just plain fusion of both styles?

It's probably Bellydance with Flamenco movements, and at that, probably hands and arms. I doubt bellydancers will start pounding the stage away, lol.

There can be a little bellydance in flamenco, like fluid hip movements when the dance is sensual. But nothing like sharp accented movements, unless it's a fusion, but then that's not real flamenco :)

Of course, if it's a fusion, then anything goes!
