About www.peridance.com Peridance Center was established by artistic director Igal Perry in 1983. Since its inception, the Center's goal has been to provide a broad spectrum of dance education within a nurturing and professional environment, preparing dancers for the continually evolving international dance arena. The school at Peridance Center offers an open program of classes, a comprehensive Foreign Students Program, and a graded children's program named the PeriChild Program. Class focuses on the the foundations in the dance styles of House, Hip-hop, and Popping. This class also focuses on the foundations in other styles of dance that are connected to the lineage/influence of these three very popular dance styles. This class will focus the basic techniques, isolations, and rhythm patterns of these dance styles. Leaving the student with tools to work on for years to come within their individual freestyle ( improvisation) as well as the ability to understand and to express the artform of these three styles in a possible routine or choreography. |
