haha!
I like to blame my fiery side on my cultural upbringing.
I live nowhere near my family. 3000 miles from "home" and whenever I visit, I'm go into reverse-culture shock. I'm like "DAMNNN...these people are LOOUDD!" haha! |

^^^^ lol! I have nicknamed my "hood" attitude "43rd street," where I grew up back home. That's when my neck gets to rolling and my fingers start pointing. Ha!
Whenever I go back home, it's the same thing for me. I'm ready to leave because of the noise!! |

Ditto. Four days of family and then "Peace Out!"
Sorry for the hijack! |

Hi, I know I entered this late:)I used to have this problem ALOT! Here's what works for me, I make the choice to dance thier choice. If someone is talking or goofing off I just ask them to sit until they're ready to dance. In the beginning of the year I explain that I'm there to "Share" dance with them and that if they don't want to dance they don't have to but i won't have them disrupting others with thier behavior. If you sit a child out enough they will usually come right back and listen. I make sure to have more patience with add and adhd kids(i'm adhd)I know how hard it is. I also make sure to work thier tails off so they don't have time to talk! Ha!Good Luck:) |
