I used it last year.
It was edited a LOT.
It came out nicely, and it was a tap solo. There was no inappropriateness ever brought up by any judge at any of the competitions it went to, not was there any within the studio. Everyone thought it was an adorable solo, because the girl is gorgeous and has a great personality on and off the stage, and I chose a cute costume to match those qualities.

I don't need a lecture about appropriate songs for dance, so don't bother. I'm just sayin', it's not frowned upon EVERYWHERE. Especially if you edit it nicely. Plus, I doubt the girl paid attention to the lyrics very much anyway, she was too busy trying to get all of her tap sounds out most of the time.
