Did anyone attend this competition last year? I was very interested, but it didn't fit into our schedule. I hope it's a great as it sounds I really want my kids to do something for others, while learning more about themselves.

I have called several times but nobody will give me a call back! It seems like a great thing to do! As a studio owner I am all over something like that but not when I can't get anyone to call back! I too want to put it on the schedule BUT when no one calls back I'm sure not going to put a check in the mail!

I'm the director of The Power of Dance. Did you call 917-693-9639? That's the number on or website. It's a cell phone and I always carry it with me. (I can't always answer, because I'm often caring for my father-in-law, who is a hospice patient.)

I did get a bunch of calls yesterday that I have not yet returned, but it was my daughter's 11th birthday and we went to Hershey Park. I figured I'd return those calls today, but it's only 8:11 am here right now. Did you leave messages before yesterday that I haven't heard?
Now I'm worried that I'm not getting messages! Also -- did you e-mail? Because I do see a bunch from yesterday that I haven't opened, but all from before yesterday have been responded to.

There was one complaint like this last year, and the studio owner had left about 5 messages on the SAME day, a holiday no less, and then reported on here that night that we don't return phone calls. That wasn't really fair.

If you'll search "Power of Dance" on here, you'll find a few posts on here from people who have reported their experiences from last year. If they weren't good, I probably wouldn't tell you to do that!

I think what you are doing is great! and I think your competition is going to grow out of control when word gets around even more!

Great, now I know our phone is dropping messages! (Unless you called yesterday? Haven't gotten to those yet.) Any body with any technical skills have any suggestions?

I usually take the noon-8pmish shift with my father in law. He sleeps much of the time, so I work on my computer, but I might not answer the phone.
