I am looking to purchase new ballet technique CDs. Any recommendations for CDs that you like for your 9-10 year olds? Thanks!

I see this question didn't get much action. I have been there and am happy to recommend two that I just love.
Larry Long's (who recently passed away, RIP) CD is filled with bright, quick and fun classics. I feel inspired to teach when I hear this:

For longer combos I lean on David Howard's Music for Ballet Class-the ronde de jambe has my students gasping:

I really enjoy most of Lynn Stanford's music as well and have been given some of his stuff. I tend to lean toward the more old-school.

I hope you love it as much as I do!

I agree with some of the older David Howard/Lynn Stanford cds as the bands tend to be a good length for younger students. However, I like Dmitri Roudnev's cds for the Russian tempos. Very well-structured for correct execution and a complete class.

Thanks for the additional suggestions! I think that David Howard and Lynn Stanford CD's were the ones available to me when I first started teaching (although they were on record!) I have no doubt that they would be helpful.

I have been using Lisa Harris "Apres le Plie" for that age group for a while and really like it. I love that there are at least 3 or 4 options for every combination, so I don't get tired of hearing the same tracks over nad over. Although, there is only one grand battement track and that drives me a little crazy! But other that that limitation I love it.
