Hi Everyone!
As the new dance season comes upon us I was wondering how many of you are interested in taking/doing classes. I'd also like your feedback on what types of classes you would like and what we should do to make the ballet dept. even better! So far if we can get enough teachers I would like to have:

Beginner Ballet
Int. Ballet
Adv. Ballet
Beginner Pointe
Int/Adv Pointe
Barre Work
Stretching and Strengthening
I was also wondering if you guys would be interested in having a floor barre class?

I'm excited to get the new season up and running!! Please leave some feedback!
dance_dance14

P.S. this is not signups. I just want a general idea of whos interested.

Hey, I'd be interested in taking some classes, not sure if I'd be any good at teaching them though, but if you can't find anyone else I'd give a go at teaching beginner or stretch/strengthen if needed.
Floor barre sounds good too, if you can find someone to teach it :D

I'd be interested in Beginner ballet, ballet barre, stretch and strengthen, and floor barre. I also think it would be cool if you could stick a pre-pointe class in there too!

Hi!

I'd be interested in Beginner and Inter. ballet, as well as Barre, stretch and strengthen and floor barre. I agree with myprettyballet that a pre pointe class would be great, but only if anyone would be willing to teach it. I don't know how I'd go with teaching though!

Thanks,

Julia

Although I never signed up before, I always came here every few times a month to "take class". It's just that I'm so busy in real life (meaning away from the computer) I rarely get a chance to go online, but I'm also really serious about dance and improving, so I try to come here whenever I can.

What I REALLY feel we need (and this is just my opinion) is a variations class, a ballet variations and possible choeography class (me being a choeographer with experience, I'd offer to help if I have time).

Maybe we could all do something like a variations togeather? maybe tape it and share it with one another to make it or edit it into one long dance piece?

Thanks everyone for the ideas! We could definitely do a pre-pointe class and if we could get enough choreographers we could do the variations class! Thanks for the interest!
You'll be updated when thinks get more definite!

I would teach anything this year.

I am mostly interested in beginner ballet, pre-pointe, beginner pointe, stretching,or barre though :).

I will choreograph up to three classes like last year.

I'm interested in taking Intermediate, but I just re-started ballet this year so I can't teach...

I also think a pre-pointe would be awesome!

I'd like to take pretty much all classes so long as they don't have 'advanced' in the name lol :)
So thats
Inter ballet
Beginner pointe
Barre
Stretch/strengthen
and
floor barre

I might do beginner ballet if its running a bit low on pupils
Oh and variations sounds interesting

With the help of my perfect pointe book and last years pre pointe classes I'd be happy to have a go at teaching that class if you'd like?

Hi,
I'd definitely be interested in taking stretching and strengthening and any beginner ballet and barre work. Thanks!
