About the North Texas Stampede
The North Texas Stampede Dancers are a premier initiative designed around the principles of positive young adult development. This organization utilizes positive young adult development as a key to the North Texas economic and social future. The vision being: “families and communities partnering to support the development of healthy, capable, productive, responsible and caring young adults”.We look forward to promoting partnership within our DFW Metroplex communities, by being a participant to local charities which provide assistance to families in need, promoting education for our youth and young adults that should bring about change, success and productivity (Arbor Daze; Get Kidz Fit Extravaganza, Juneteenth Celebration, Plano Balloon Festival).
REQUIREMENTS:
*If selected there is a 100% ONE YEAR TOTAL COMMITMENT & DEDICATION
*MUST have your own means of Transportation
*MUST be able to attend All Mandatory Rehearsals, Games, and Events
*There are NO maximum/minimum height or weight requirements

*Solid Black Dance Pants
*Solid Black Dance or Tennis Sneakers (NO Jazz Shoes)
~ NOTE~ Hair and Make-up Attractive and All Down, NO Body Jewelry (only performance earring studs NO EXCEPTIONS), NO Tattoos (cover any visible tattoos)
~PROCESS:
*Begin Prompt “Day Of” Registration with $20 fee MONEY ORDERS ONLY
*Warm-Up and Learn Short Routine like those Performed on the Field
*Perform Audition Routine in Groups
*Final Team Announced by Conclusion of Audition
~Team Style of Dance is Pom, Hip-Hop, and Jazz~
Practice Begins Monday November 9th, 2009 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at B&B YOGA STUDIO
