"Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat
There is a version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" done by Tori Amos--might be better suited for slightly older girls though unless you are looking for edgy.
"The Story" by Brandi Carlile.
Songs by Adele.
A few years ago, I saw a group of girls at competition do a lyrical dance to the song "Simple Gifts". They were dressed in what I would call Amish-looking clothes. The song was sung without accompaniment, and it was simply beautiful--the dance, the whole thing.
My friend who is also on DDN used the theme from "Narnia" with a mix of ages.

Im that age so I would say songs by Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato
