Any advice as to what to include in a warm up for an intermediate/advanced tap class warm up? I'd like for my warm up to last at least 15 minutes. Any creative ideas would be wonderful! 3 Replies to Intermediate/Advanced TAP Warm Up |

I have gotten a lot of great tap warmup / technique exercises from different tap technique videos. For my advanced dancers, I am currently using some exercises from Shea Sullivan's video as well as some stuff from Lyn Cramer (check out Cathy Roe's website for info).
I go back to these videos year after year and while I may not use them in their entirety or I may change the exercise to suit my needs, they really do get my creative juices flowing.
My warmup consists of a runon combination of toe drops/heel drops, ball taps, shuffles, double shuffles, flaps, cramp rolls. |
