About The Group Theatre Too The Group Theatre Too presents The Choreographer's Canvas, an annual event featuring the works of eighteen cutting-edge New York choreographers. See new original and traditional styles of choreography including, tap, ballet, theatre dance, jazz, hip-hop, Broadway, modern and lyrical in concert at Manhattan's Hudson Guild Theatre. Experience the dance designs of New York's established and emerging choreographers in this uplifting mosaic evening of music and movement.
Producer, Justin Boccitto and the Group Theatre Too, LLC are currently seeking choreographers for their 2010 "Choreographer's Canvas" taking place in the spring of next year. This is a showcase opportunity for choreographers to present their work in an Off-Broadway venue in Manhattan. Interested choreographers should submit video/DVD samples of their work to: The Group Theatre Too, 609 West 196th Street, #5D, New York, NY 10040. Please include any additional material about your dance company and/or piece (ie press packet, photos, contact info, etc.). All styles of dance will be considered and featured in the "Choreographer's Canvas" including but not limited to tap, jazz, theatre dance, hip-hop, modern, ballet, lyrical, etc. There is a $25 non-refundable entry fee. Please make checks payable to: The Group Theatre Too, LLC. All submissions must be postmarked by October 18th, 2009. Material will not be returned to choreographers. No pay. Choreographers will be selected and announced in December 2009.
