I just got home from the studio and popped on Facebook to read this. I'm so, soooo sad. He was my first movie star crush from the first time I saw Dirty Dancing as a little girl. |

I'm truly saddened to hear this news. I met Patrick a few years back at the Dance Teacher Conference and my 2nd cousin met him with the Special Olympics. He truly was an extraudinary person!!
I couldn't bear to see the recent tabloid photos of him so frail. It brings me to tears. He will truly be missed in the dance world, as well as in Hollywood! |

So sorry to hear about the death of Patrick Swayze today. He always worked so hard, dancing, acting, fighting the cancer, he was a very inspirational person for me and so many others.
Yes, a great dancer trained in his mom's studio and married a girl that was from his mom's studio. And still married to her for 34 years!! will be missed... |

There is a little less music and dancing in the world tonight with the loss of Patrick Swayze. What a beautiful man, in every way, a total class act. I always had a fantasy about having the chance to dance with him just once...in my dreams!! RIP Patrick, and thank you for the wonderful legacy you have left us all. We are all a little richer for it. |

I love how he was not only a phenomenal actor and dancer, but he was also such a good PERSON. It's not like you saw him in the tabloids for any serious scandals, just for his tragic illness.
I think a Swayze movie marathon is in order... |

Above all, he was a wonderful person, and he will be truly missed. We all love Dirty Dancing, but also check out One Last Dance in which he plays a ballet dancer opposite his wife.

That was beautiful, One Last Dance. How many people wish to have 1/10 of the relationship that they had. How will she ever replace him? I cannot imagine it being possible. |
