Has anyone used the CD "Hello Toes" it also has the balloon dance on it...I used it all the time and can't find it...Of course I don't remember who it's by so that doesn't help either! It's a great CD and the kids LOVED it. 6 Replies to "Hello Toes, Goodbye Toes" CD |

I'm so glad you asked.
The publisher never made it into a cd. It's only a cassette tape. I bought it from the publisher this summer and he gave me permission to have it put into a cd format, however, I haven't located a company to do that yet.
There is also a book that is named Hello Toes and is by Anne Lief Barlin (and "Goodnight Toes book also).
The publisher is Princeton Book Company, find toll free number on web site.
If you find it on cd PLEASE let me know, I want to buy a copy also. Thank you |

I bought an online conversion program recently for $34.95 called spin it again. I put my cassette into a hand held tape player( the small kind). I put a cord that looks like the kind you stick into an ipod but is the same on both ends... one end into the headphone on the tape deck, one into the back of the computer in the hole that goes to the sound card. I open the program from my desktop and the nice lady on the program asks me what I want to convert and I click the "record a cassette tape" link. She tells you when it is ready to record. You click record then push play on your tape player. you hear the song playing then when it is done you push stop on the tape player and click stop recording on the program. then you can listen to your file and clean it up using tools on the program. then it will ask you if you want to save it as an mp3 and you name it, convert it to an mp3 file, then it is in your computer as a saved document that you can burn to CD! So many of the great childrens songs I have not been able to find on CD so this is how I solved the problem! Hope it works for you! |

Danzing2, Thank you for the description of the "Spin it Again" program you bought. I think I can do that. |

Will this system put in stops between tracks on the cassette and translate them to stops between tracks on the cd or do you have to do that manually? |

Hi danzing2
I have tried to convert my tapes to cd but my tape player is apparently too old and does not have the right "outlet" for a cord. Do you know what the cord is called that you used? I guess I will go look for an inexpensive handheld type tape player like you have. I have so many tapes that I would love to be able to use in cd form.
Thanks! |
