I am trying to figure out if the class that my daughter is in is appropriate. she had done creative movement, pre primary (1/2) year for two years (we moved). and this year they put her in pre primary again. Her problem is that her friends are all in primary exam and she want to be with them and I think the primary exam turns to grade 1? if I put her in the class would she still be okay?

When a dancing teacher places a child in a class it's not just the amount of time they've done the work that counts, we have to take into account muscular development, growth spurts, children are never put up a level just because everyone else is. You say she had done creative movement and pre primary, is that for a total of 2 years?
You don't say what syllabus is being used and as none of us has seen your daughter dance then all we can really do is offer very generalized advice and this probably isn't going to help you that much. At the end of the day it will be the teacher who has the final say, so if your not sure about her placement then you need to go and talk with her teacher.
