Now that I have decided my dance team's top (which I posted about earlier) I, of course, now have an issue with tights. I went ahead and ordered what the previous coach had planned to order and ordered the whole team caramel colored tights. 9 of the girls received body tights, and for my two bigger girls I ordered them both 2XL footed regular tights in the same color - it was the biggest size in the same color, just a different style. The girls have now told me these 2XL tights don't fit them... they can't return tights (expected) but now I have to find them tights in the same color as the rest of the team so they don't look out of place! I haven't been able to ask them how the tights are too small (if they aren't long enough, or if the waist is too tight). I know I used to cut the waist bands in my tights, but I'm not sure if I can suggest that to the girls. Does anyone know if Capezio can do special orders? I ordered the tights through Weissman's - and everything else has been great, but it looks like Capezio might not even make Caramel tights in 3XL or larger... Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.. I'm at a loss...

They do make a plus size tight. The XXL I have actually bought because I like the extra length, but they're a lot more comparable to their regular tights. The plus size tights are probably what you want. Style 1862 (Hold and Stretch) in 1X, 2X, and 3X.

Thanks for your suggestions... I just haven't seen any plus size tights in the right color... I guess I'm going to have to just call Capezio because you can't search too specifically on the site.
