About Peridance Center Peridance Center was established by artistic director Igal Perry in 1983. Since its inception, the Center's goal has been to provide a broad spectrum of dance education within a nurturing and professional environment, preparing dancers for the continually evolving international dance arena. The school at Peridance Center offers an open program of classes, a comprehensive Foreign Students Program, and a graded children's program named the PeriChild Program. The Center is also the home of Peridance Ensemble, the renowned contemporary dance company.

Stephen Petronio Company is coming to Peridance to teach a 4 week Master Class Series.
The internationally acclaimed Stephen Petronio Company is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. To mark this milestone, the Company will be holding ongoing morning classes for the discerning dancer in New York City! Stephen and Company Members will present the first installment in a month-long Master Class Series at Peridance Center.
Petronio Technique is a uniquely sophisticated language of movement that has been developed with a varied and talented group of dancers. Classes are focused on developing a rigorous and intelligent movement practice. The phrase movement is derived from Company Repertory addressing Stephen’s unique focus in dynamic sequencing, poly-rhythmic initiations and a sense of fearlessness within a complex architectural form.
A 10% discount will be given to participants who register for all four weeks.
