Hello Everyone,
I am teaching a Adv. level teen tap class and I haven't taught this in a few years. I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas for warm up and across the floor progressions? Everything I gave them last week they mastered, and I'm in need of some new ideas or if there are any new challenging tap combos I could use.

Thanks so much.

Here's my warm up:
The begin with a 'counting' and brain warm-up. You can do this pattern with any tap step, you know we usually stick to 3 of this and step, or 1 switch 1 switch, or whatever. Here's a nice long one:
single (7 times)
stomp
rpt in reverse.
single
double
triple
double
single
single
triple
double
single
stomp
rpt in reverse.
single (x2)
double (x2)
triple (x2)

single (x4)
triple (x2)
double (x2)
single (x4)
double
stomp
rpt in reverse.

you can do this patter with any step.. shuffles, paradiddles, just plain heels (that's how I taught it for them to get the pattern correct)

then I move into toe heel crawls, then add shuffles bw the crawls
then go through drawbacks

Let me know if you want more.
