Hi
Does anyone know of a system that would allow pitch or speed control off an iPod? I thought I had seen one once while browsing the net, but haven't found it again.
Thanks! 7 Replies to iPod pitch/speed control |

Not that I'm aware of, and I've been dying for this to be added ASAP! A while back I posted a request for all teachers reading to go to the Apple website and submit a request for this option to be added.
If you find something, please let us know!!!!! |

For a cheaper alternative, you could adjust the pitch and volume in a music editor program, like sonicfoundry and then save it as like "xxsong fast" or something like that. |

^ I do that. Audacity is a great free download off the internet - I use it to chop up pieces of music too (great for when you know you'll predominantly be working from the 2nd pre-chorus of a song for several weeks!). |

I just adjust the pitch on my music editing program & save it 3 different ways. usually 100, 95 & 90 percent. |

I use Creative Zen and it has the pitch control built in. Just have to go to settings and select your speed.
I have used Creative (either Zen or Nomad) now for 5 years and I wouldn't switch to an Ipod if you paid me. With Creative products you can download music from cheaper sites and can transfer music too. Don't ever have to use Itunes.
