Ha ha ha!

Temps levé sounds in Dutch like 'tooth fairy', so that is what all kids say: "Are we going to do Tooth Fairy today?"

Well not quite, but almost the same:

I ask my 3yr olds to see the "mouse" that lives behind their window (when they do their plies), and my new group of 3yr olds keep opening their "mouths" and sticking out their tongues at me. :/

I was in my 5-6 year old Ballet and I was teaching Pas De Chat. I was explaining how its the "step of the cat" to the girls and one of them said "We're stepping on cats?!?". Basically, laughed for 20 minutes!

This past week at the elementary school we were talking about the history of ID and we talked about kilts, and a kid referred to it as a "guilt". I didn't correct, just kept on moving!

Also another kid wanted to tell me that he heard "the Irish accent in my voice". I laughed and was like oohhhh ok! Um...I do have a little bit of Irish in me, but I'm from the west coast, and every relative I've met was born in America and NO ONE has an Irish accent, neither do I!!
