We're taking our Company girls to see Fame tonight! I think it's going to be really fun and I hope the movie is good I loved Kerington on SYTYCD so I'm hopeful. The other instructors and I have been discussing that we hope it's not just another "dance movie" with bad acting and no substance.

I just saw a headline that said "It's a Shame that Fame is so Lame". awwwww! Guess I'll just be looking for some awesome dancing. We're going to have fun anyway

Let us know how it is. I'm supposed to be planning a field trip for some of our students to go see it. I think I'll go and see it first prior to taking them so I can focus. LOL

I'm excited to see it tomorrow! My studios competition team got asked to perform at a local movie theatre to help them promote the movie (they are having a contest nationwide to see who can do the most creative/best promotion for Fame), so we are doing a dance to the theme song INSIDE the movie theatres tomorrow before the movie starts. Should be interesting, dancing in the aisles and pit of the movie theatre, ha. I attached a picture of them all in their fame shirts, they're so excited!

My studio performed before the movie tonight, it was great! We had people gathering that were just passing in the mall. The kids loved having an early opportunity to perform. Plus the theater manager had posters and buttons for everyone.

The movie was good in my opinion, everyone has there own opinion. I just love seeing some of my former teammates and dance friends in it.
