Does your marching band have a dance line? en>fr fr>en

I was hoping to start up a dance line with my high school's marching band after I graduate. Not a dance team, I mean a group of dancers who dances with the marching band to add general effect. (that's why i put this in Color Guard instead of dance teams). How many of your bands have a dance line included in them? What kind of dances do they do (I know a lot of southern marching bands that have really sluterrific or total hip hop dance styles)? Do they usually integrate with the color guard? My color guard has like no dance background whatsoever and are not interested in getting one...so i offered this option up to my new banddirector and he liked the idea. :D I'd really appreciate your opinions and advice. Thank you :)

Our school has a colorguard but does not have a dance line for the marching band. I have seen them at other schools though. It really depends on the band; some have only band members, some have only colorguard, some have twirlers, some have a dance line, and most have a mixture of some sort.

Sorry I can't give much information but it does sound like a really cool idea.

Always,
Ally
