Does anyone have some ideas for dance games for 2nd and 3rd graders?

I use a deck of cards, for each card I assign a dance step. I then deal out a set number of cards to each student. (usually 3 to 5 cards each.) Then with those cards and the dance steps I have assigned to each card they have to make up a small combination. Then they take turns performing it for their classmates.

Advanced freeze dance- when they freeze they have to do whatever pose i yell out such as- lunge to the right, sitting heelstretch, scorpion, liberty, arabebesque, one of the ballet positions etc

Formation Game- they dance around the room and when i stop the music they have to jazz walk to whatever dance formation i yell out in 8 cts- circle, partners, 4 corners, sandwich etc

Dance Pose Game- we cut out pics from old costume catalogs that have good poses- everyone gets one, then has to try to copy the pose in front of the class- complete with a smile
