I have a dilemma. I am doing a baseball number for my musical theater class. The teachers can only pick from four costume companies and there is only one baseball costume in one of the books. They used the same one last year so now I have no costume. It has to be a baseball uniform or it will not make sense. Help!

Ask the local basketball team for their uniform, for one night. In return they get free tickets for the show.

Also, every time we've done baseball (a lot), we bought baseball pants from academy (sporting goods store) and solid color baseball t's. Then we put numbers and NBDC (our dance team name) on the back and outlined the neck with sequins. It's work, but it was original and tied in our team. And of course we got baseball socks and hats also!

Do you know cost? I am also tied into a low cost for these classes so I cannot go over budget. Borrowing costumes is out of the question. The class has too many kids in it anyway, in odd sizes from child med to adult med.

I don't know exactly how low-budget you have to be, but I did a quick look at like Dick's Sporting Goods online. They have some baseball pants for about $25 and some baseball shirts that even look customizable for about $10. Here's the link: www.dickssportinggoods.com . . .
