I wish I were in school for dance... but dance is in my heart, not in my legs :) Im currently taking bachelor of science majoring in psychology, with some open dance classes on the side. Next year I'll be transferring to the University of Alberta and I'm so excited! I'm hoping to take some new styles while I'm out there... In my small town there is no such thing as ballroom :)

Good for you! I did my undergrad there and recently spent 4 years teaching there in the Faculty of Science.

Small bit of advice: when you are looking at your overly-crowded class schedule and wondering why every single prof is loading you down with more work than you can possibly do in a single lifetime, and are contemplating stopping dance just so you can cram in a few more hours in the library, STOP!!! Drop your books, head to the studio and do whatever dance moves you atr the time. A couple hours in a dance studio and away from studying will make you 8432 times more productive than dropping the dance and keeping your nose in a book.

Undergrads don't seem to understand that time away from their studies is absolutely needed to rechardge their batteries. Your dance moves, your brain, and your year-end grade point average will thank you.
