Anyone know the going rate for a 1 hr master class from an experienced teacher nowadays? Also same question for private lessons. What do you consider fair and what do you consider over priced from an instructor on both? I want to make sure I am not being over charged for what I am getting.

Master teachers, the bottom rate I have ever paid was $150 per hour but most will set their rate. Is this for you or for someone to hire?

Private lessons, usually around $60 per hour, minimum.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking but thought I should get some other's thoughts. A colleague of mine wants to come to the studio I teach at and do some master classes/privates and he wants to charge a lot more than that. I thought he was over charging and wanted to make sure.
