The Maryland Maniacs Indoor Football Team, member of the IFL, is seeking a choreographer for the dance team. The dance team is jazz/hip-hop oriented, but contemporary and modern influences are welcome. The choreographer will be an integral part of the dance team and organization.

If you are a choreographer in the DC or Baltimore Metro areas and you are looking for experience on a professional level, please contact us to discuss the specifics such as dates/times/location of rehearsals. We will require references and examples of your prior choreography as a part of the interview process.

This is a paid position and additional perks are available in addition to the salary.

• Responsibilities to choreograph one dance piece and to exposes young middle. school students to the arts for the “Mega Genesis College Day”.
• Five songs for the “Sam Cooke Tribute” for while using classical and contemporary technique.
• Dance piece, explain vision to dance directors to teach their students; as well as teach an understanding of shapes and patterns in choreography.
• Responsibilities were to model African attire while coming up with a five minute African dance piece. Modeling show.
• Dance Line/ Flag Line Director Responsibilities were to teach dancers how to stretch properly; giving them stretching techniques while still using classical background, enforcing rules, and choreography routines for competitions. Implementing self esteem and confidence for performance, parade.
