I created this template tonight to keep track of all of my classes. Since I'm also the SO, I get requests from each class of "oh please e-mail me this, or that." or someone is trying to find a resource for some kind of something, it's far to hard for me to remember all of those requests by the end of the night.

I made the Skills Worked On smaller since I will only write one or two words per line of a specific skill set. This will also help me since I'm trying to develop my own curriculum (none exists for my particular style of dance). The announcement section was made a little bigger since in my original file I made it a fillable pdf to type upcoming announcements in. I NEVER remember to tell them something the week the info needed to go out in class. I'm excellent on e-mail but some of my parents don't have e-mail. The last section of To Do/ Follow up is for all of those comments/requests I get after each class and is the biggest square because I'll be handwriting everything into that section.

My original file I typed in the day time and title of my classes in order, so I have a couple of pages for each week. I plan on hole punching these, not sure if I'll put them in a binder to bring to class or just a folder during class and a binder at home to track progress made for curriculum creation purposes.

Tell me what you think of it. Would you find it useful?

Very nice! I am going to steal it. My notes... well if anyone needed to read them would need my brain to read my scribbles, lol (therefore I let my assistant write down my dances for me). This is excellent and will force me NOT to scribble and be neater. You are my hero.

If anyone would like a pdf copy of this template, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will send it to you. I created a DDN Requests e-mail address to keep my personal and professional identity private.

I used my note sheet this week for the first time and love it! It's also restructured my class for the fact that now I have a time to make announcements. I've also used the To Do/ Follow Up a ton and didn't realize how many requests, etc. I get for each class. How's it working for anyone else?

They look great. I have followed something similar but in chart form to use for the "To work on" section. I actually got the idea from writing lesson plans for school, writing objectives and things we need to work in class. I don't know how to do the PM with my request. I am technologcally challenged when it comes to terminology.I love the idea!
