I am looking for one more preschool ballet song that can use a prop, preferably non animal as my other 2 classes are doing "Me and my Teddy" with bears and "Snuggle Puppy" with puppies. Any ideas for a shovel and pail, or a slow bunny song where they could use a carrot? Thanks! 6 Replies to Looking for a preschool song with prop |

Bunny Rabbit Blues by Kimbo
I've used it a few times over the years for both pre-school tap and ballet. It could work for either one. Very cute! |

Just for the future, I think you can use a prop with just about any song, especially if its to keep the arms of young ones from being sloppy. For example we are using Under the Sea this year for a preschool class, and they are holding white balls as pearls. This helps if you are in the practice of always using props with itty bitties, so that you don't have to get stuck with the same old doll and teddy songs... |

^^^ Quite true. I have used mini canes for The Entertainer, maracas for Chihuahua, inflatable crayons for Rainbow Connection, balloons tied to wrists (so long ago, I forget what song we used).
You can use lots of stuff for many different songs. |

Thanks everyone! Guess I just need to open my creative side of my brain and not be stuck in literal mentioning of the prop in the song. I love the pearl idea-really cute! |
