You can add an sound effect to cover the word or you can drop the volume on the specific word as well. I have it home and could help you more if you want to pm me. |

Not sure what version you have of Garageband, but once you have dropped your mp3 in the track section, you will see the icons in the section on the left of the song that have a red button, a speaker, earphones, a lock and an arrow pointing down. Click on the arrow and it should open a Track Volume bar and a long blue volume line running across the bottom of your track.
You can then go to the place you want edited and click on the long blue volume bar under your track on both sides of the word to delete. Then you need click right in between those dots and pull the middle dot down.
That will decrease the volume right at the word.
I hope that makes sense. So hard to explain without showing it! |
