recital planning and need taps songs for 10 year old class.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sugar Sugar, Hello Dolly, Good Morning Baltimore, there is a good song to "popeye the sailor man" can't remember where i got it but is good for a character type tap, although maybe a bit young for 10 year olds.

Anything from high school musical? I think the song Get Your Head in the Game would be a cute tap routine with or without basketballs (ok maybe without balls for 10 year olds). I did a tap routine when i was 13 with basketballs and it was a blast. A basketball uniform, and some sweatbands would be a cute costume!

The Scissor Sisters " I dont Feel like Dancing" is a great, good paced song for tap. Not too fast, not too slow and you can incorporate a lot of personality to this song. Hope this helps!
