Does anyone know what Baton Competitions are offered for Spring/Summer 2010 in Georgia or surrounding states and where I can register? I have been out of the loop for a few years. Preferably NBTA, but tell me all you know.

please go to twirltacular.com. She is having the 20th annual in Memphis in March, Knoxville is in April, Arkansas and Ohio in June/May. Twirltacular is great fun. There are championship events where NBTA rules are fine and she has competition for each class NBTA< USTA< ETC>

Also, USTA regionals will either be in Chattanooga or Biloxi On june 11, 12, 13 2010. watch ustwirling.com.

AAU had a georgia contest last year in March. aausports.org and go to the baton twirling page.

NBTA has state and miss majorette in the spring.

USTA nationals are in Savannah GA in summer, July of 2010 they are before AYOP.

TU has a contest in Smyrna GA in March. twirling unlimited website.

There used to be a large contest each year in Tennessee held on the weekend that Dollywood opened. They are having the contest again this year!!! The parade will be on Friday May 7th and the contest events will be on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th with the team events being held the first thing Saturday morning. I am taking my teams so they can be in the parade on Friday, compete Sat. morning and then have free time to have fun in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We are all so excited! The solo events are going to be on Sat and Sun with open and visitors events being held on both days so they will have 2 opportunities to compete. It is not sanctioned so any organization can enter.

Riverside Twirl Classic is an open NBTA sanctioned contest and held in West TN the first Sat in April yearly. Email thendrix@netease.net
