Hello all,
Several of our teen students are doing a Christmas performance in the community and I am trying to come up with a simple/cheap costume for ballet. I was thinking of using a black leotard for a base, but what could I put with this that would be cheap but yet pretty?
Any ideas? 3 Replies to Ideas for simple Christmas ballet costume |

what about getting fabric in different colors and use to tie around the waist as a skirt? also a mother of one of my girls said that the grandma made a tutu... it was a no sew tutu where she tied the tulle in knots around a piece of elastic... turned out gorgeous. |

Go on Ebay and search for red tutus on elastic bands. Then add green ribbon as bows, for trim, around the neck, in the hair, etc. I've seen red/green mini-tutu style ponytail hair trim at Five Below chain stores. You could even use them as cuffs. |
