Im having a very hard time ending a piece of music. I know what I want, I just am not talented enough to get it right myself. The original song fades out at the end and there is no real clear spot to cut it for a more abrupt ending. This is for a comeptition pom routine for the dance team I coach, and originally i had planned to have them dance off the floor partway as the music fades, blow a kiss or wave cute, then "spirit" off the rest of the way as the music ends. All that time I didn't account for the fact that there are poms on the floor they will have to pick up when the routine is over. I cant think of any way for this ending to work out right, and the tossing of the poms is too cute to leave out.

So I've got to find a spot in the song where it can end abruptly.. the music just doesn't sound good with an explosion or anything tacked on, or with other usual fixes like an echo, etc. What I was hoping to do is drag out the final lyric a bit and maybe pull a trumpet or drum sound from the music.. think like Late show type music. Paul Shaffer style... lol..

I can hear it in my head but cant do it myself. Do any of you know of someone who'd fix this for me for a small fee? I'd rather pay a few bucks than waste any more hours on this since I am going nowhere with it.

OR can you think of any jazz band type music with a drum ending. What I have in mind is Love Shack - the last couple of seconds, but I dont like the scream in there...
