I loved the creativity of the choreography but found the music just a bit too repetitive for my taste but that may just be a personal preference on my part in that I like music that has more tempo and rhythm changes. |

I think I am so drawn to it because of the visual interest. There were so many times that I was focusing on one group of dancers and then looked to the other side of the stage and found that the dancers had subtly changed position. I kept saying "wait...how did that dancer get down there?"
Her juxtaposition of speed and slow motion was just REALLLLLLY interesting to me. The picture just kept morphing from one thing into another.
Very different. |

I too liked the way the piece was set because I felt I could watch the whole thing without feeling like there was too much going on at once. |

We saw this at the Pulse in Dallas last year. The teachers (Mia, Shane, Tyce, etc.) raved and raved about it. They actually asked them to do an encore performance the last day. I thought it was really good too |

I just get so burned out watching Comp choreo, because it all starts to look the same after a while.
Refreshing to see someone choreographing out of the box a bit. |

I like it a lot. Reminds me of Matts Ek sometimes, and that's meant as a compliment! |

I really liked the relationship between the music and the choreography. Some lovely choreographic transitions where different groups would subtlely mirror each other before going off into something new, and at all times, being lead by the pulse of the music.
It's almost a shame you only saw it front-on - I would have loved to see if what the formations used were. |

Excellent. Lots of visual interest. Unfortunately, my youtube quit palying halfway through the piece! |

As far as competition dances go, this one was definitely different. I didn't really care for it though. I felt like there was just too much going on at one time. Like 2 or even 3 things going on at once is ok, but when practically all 15 are doing different things, it just loses my interest. Too chaotic. |

Wish I could have seen it live.
One day, when I grow up, I'll be able to choreograph with all of those layers and complexity. BTW - I'm 44...I'd better chop chop. hehe. |

Lovely, but I agree about the music. Not my taste. |
