We are doing a beach themed recital this year. However, I am lacking on ballet songs. Any ideas??

The Nocturenes (sp?) suite by Claude Debussy is beautiful - it is all written about the sea and very much conveys the feeling of the water.
It's classical and pretty long so there should be quite a bit to work with there. It's very peaceful though, almost melancholy-ish and I don't know if that's what you're looking for.
My partner did a piece for her ballet class from the Sea music from the Ballet Scheherazade last year as well and that was beautiful. |

Does not have to be classical, the majority of the music is for ages 2-6. So something fun that could keep their attention would be good  |
