Im putting my recital list together and wanted to get some imput..

Pre ballet(3-5) - sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows (strawberry shortcake)(1st pic)
Pre Tap(3-5)- Cuban Pete (the mask)(2nd pic)

ballet 1 (7-9)- butterfly fly away (hannah montanna movie)(3rd pic)
tap 1 (7-9)-shake your tailfeather( cheetah girls) (no costume yet, any ideas?)

tumbleing (7-9) never had a friend like me (Aladdin)(4th pic)

baby ballet(3-5) when you wish upon a star. (Pinocchio) (no costume, any ideas?)
Baby tap(3-5) no song, its a movie theme, help??

tumbleing tots- life is a highway (5th pic)

pre ballet (5-7) somewhere over the rainbow (the hawiian sounding one from 50 first dates) (6th pic)

I like those costumes...which catalog did you find them in?? for the baby tap what about something from jungle book because then you could have them dress like animals...i just saw some really cute animal costumes out there-just an idea

they are from revolution, wish come true, and liberts.

they only bad thing about doing jungle book with animals is 1)they all have to look the same and 2) we used "i wanta be like you" last year

All your choices are great..

Shake your tail feather - definitely some kind of bird.. it would be super cute if their arms were wings, and they had a little tail in the back. I picture yellow like a chick or white like a chicken.

wish upon a star I'd pick something that looks similar to the fairy godmother in the cartoon. Light blue and sparkly - with fairy wings and a wand if you want (with a star on it) to go that route. something like this www.awishcometrue.com . . . or this www.awishcometrue.com . . .

We did Shake a Tailfeather by the Cheetah Girls last year, 7-8 year old tap. We used Weissmans page 45 #3971.

I'm planning on using this one for my little ballerinas this year - It would be pretty used with the song "when you wish upon a star" as well.

I used that first costume for the dance "Friendship Grows" by Strawberry shortcake! It was hit!
