About Movement.Theory Dance Company Dancers are often portrayed to be larger than life. It is Movement.Theory's goal to show that they are also human and to carry the audience on a journey showing the truth, beauty, humor and pain of the human experience through dance.
Seeking male and female dancers, 20-28, technically strong in jazz, modern, contemporary, ballet and hip hop. Wanting open-minded individuals who are serious and passionate, with a sense of humor, and who are not afraid to cross social boundaries. Must be available for morning/early afternoon rehearsals once or twice weekly in NYC. Female choreographer looking to workshop pieces for future performances. No pay, but a great opportunity to dance, grow, create and network. It is a contemporary audition so there is no required dress or footwear and there is no need to prepare anything as you will be learning choreography.
Date: Friday November 20th.
