About D.A.N.C.E! D.A.N.C.E! has been in operation for one year and we are ready to move full speed ahead. We are a not for profit organization so we need volunteers and interns we understand the mission. As a not for profit organization donations are very vital to our success. We need a Director who will understand this importance and make it their duty to see that we meet our finical obligations. This is the perfect opportunity to build your resume. The ideal candidate for this position must be an aggressive sales person. He or she must fully understand the financial objective and strive to go and beyond the stated objective.
The job will require the individual to be very well at networking; he or she must make cold calls to potential donors, and maintain relationships with donors and potential donors. The candidate may be required to go out and solicit new clients.
The Coordinator will also obtain donors and sponsors to advertise in the program at The Opening. The overall objective of the Coordinator is to meet our finical objectives.
The candidate will have to keep detail records of people who we ask to donate, people who have donated, and so forth. Thus, the ideal person must be able use to Excel.
In addition, to oral skills, great written communication skills are very important. The coordinator will be in charge of sending out Thank You Letters, follow up letters, and update letters, thus time management is very important.
The candidate must be able to results oriented, even under tight budget constraints.
Details records will have to be kept to be able to link every donation to every expense.
This is an intern position. Thus the ideal candidate can be a sophomore or senior in college, or at least 18 years of age with the passion to get things done. D.A.N.C.E! is about creating excellence so we will consider all candidates.
